I need some advice.First of all,I've never had a boy like me and when I was in 5th alot of boys like my friends not even one liked me.Is their something wrong with me.I'm also kind worried about finding all my classes and having a bunch of teachers.I am new to all of this.When i was in 5th i was grade not graded with A B C D or F.And most of my friends are not going to the same school as me.We still talk to each other though but,I'm really shy so making new friends is kinda hard.last year some girls didn't like me because I got alot of good grades and i would have to wear glasses so they would say i needed 4 eyes to see.When people talk about me wearing glasses I really try to ignore them but for me it's hard.SO PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!.I can't ask my sister she's to caught up in her social life and my mom can't under stand because she doesn't wear glasses but she kinda helps.

We've all been there. I had a tough time when i started middle school too. I couldn't find my locker, all my friends went to another school, I had to start wearing glasses, all that good stuff. Don't worry about the boys because even if there are boys who liked you, they might be too shy to tell you. There was a girl who called me a "four-eyed", but guess what, she had to get glasses two years later too. About 4 out of 10 people will need glasses before they turn 18, so chances are, whoever made fun of you will also need glasses later on. It's just that many people wear contact lenses, so you don't see many people with glasses. When you are a bit older and are able to handle contact lenses, ask your parents to get them for you. Keep up with the good grades because that will get you into prestigious universities later on. You might find it hard to believe, but as an adult, you will be more respected if you are smart. Those girls who made fun of you are just jealous cuz they don't have IQ as high as yours, that's all. The golden rule to making friends is, be friendly. Treat others w/ respect. Give people compliments whenever you can. Don't be too occupied about what people think. Don't take anything personally. Smile often. And do not give up. Even if these things don't give you new friends right away, people will start warming up to you once they realize that you are genuinely nice. (By the way, don't be too nice, or you will seem like you try too hard)

first off, your going to be just fine. Everyone's always a bit nervious when they start something new, but just remember that you'll make it. As for making friends and boys liking you and stuff, all of that will come in time. Friends are usually pretty easy to make, even if you dont know many people. And i wouldnt worry about boys right now, you've got your whole life ahead and you are a bit young to have a boyfriend and such. And dont worry about wearing glasses. You'll be suprised how many people wear glasses. If anyone makes fun of you for wearing them, ask them if they would make fun of the troops in Iraq for wearing glasses, cause thier are alot of them that do.
My only major advice is to be yourself and do well with your studies. It might not seem like a big deal now, but it all catches up someday.

wow that was me like 8 years ago but i was a boy and after getting made fun of (i had glasses and was the top math student) i pushed a kid on the wall in front of the class and people gave me respect. I just tried not to think about it, i just told my self I'm better then them cuz I got good grades and it would go away but middle school is a little more grown up. Just try not to stress out about finding your classes and all, the less you think about it the better off you will be. and good luck

I am a Middle School teacher - first remember there will be at least a couple of hundred kids starting out just like you.
My guess is anyway you will like it. You will meet some new friends and in no time it will feel comfortable. And don't even rush worrying about boys - you have alot of time ahead of you for that, just enjoy being a kid for now.
Stay up with your assignments - dress moderately, behave respectfully and don't provoke other people and you will have a great time. Guaranteed.

umm... some boys had to like u. I mean like maybe they were too shy to express it. and don't owrry about the classes. u'll get use to it. I was scared in 7th grade too. lol. about the classes. but that was 2 years ago. I'm fine now. and don't worry about the glasses thing. they're just really immature. there's no reason to be scared of 6th grade. it'll be easy. put all ur fears aside. ur startin a new life. lol. (kinda wierd sayin this)

u just don't worry. u concerntrate only to your studies.ok.
bcause i also suffered in this stage.& now i have lot's of friend bcase of my intelligence.
