Not at all, I feel more threatened by our own government than any thing else in the world. How blind and complacent our people are as the powers that control Bush propel us headlong into even greater global conflict. We all pawns and I for one resent the practiced use of Bush's terrorism much more than I fear it.
We are entering into an even darker stage of what began long ago:
The government, which was designed for the people, has got into the hands of the bosses and their employers, the special interests. An invisible empire has been set up above the forms of democracy.
Woodrow Wilson
The invisiible empire is much more powerful now.

If you feel threatened by terrorists then the terrorists have done their job. And the way America is run these days it seems the terrorists have succeeded. Terrorists do not intend to conquer the world. They intend to terrorize people which has indirect consequences like governments imposing laws to restrict civil liberties, people being scared all the time.
Most American simpletons don't understand this concept. The more you devise laws like the Patriot Act, the more you build prisons like Guantanamo, the more money you spend on military the greater the success of terrorists. Terrorists seem to be an intelligent bunch, they send in 20 men and sow the seeds of fear which eventually kills thousands of your own, kills your economy, kills your freedom. Cost benefit analysis.
The only way to defeat terrorism is by ignoring terrorism, by showing the terrorists that we are NOT terrorized, by telling them that no matter what we will not live in fear, we will not give up our freedom.

Knowing that there are teams at work which are actually threatening the terrorists makes it easier to live in a terrorist world. Every day some number of terrorists vanish or have deadly accidents. If it were not for this unusual phenomenon, the world would be a**-deep in terrorists.
So, when you feel threatened by terrorists, remember the poor terrorists who know that someone is after them, and intends to do a real number on them..

If you didn't pay attention to what people were telling you on TV, the radio, the Internet, and in current events publications, would you know of the terrorist threat? It's not something people get together to talk about. The government wants us to know about it, but they don't want us to do anything besides go about our normal lives.
When I lived in England I was more aware of a terrorist threat than I am here. At the airports in England, the guards have body armor, helmets, and sub-machine guns. And they are always looking around for anyone suspicious. I've never seen that at an American airport. Compared to British airports, our airports are a joke.

Terrorism is present in every part of the world and of course some of us feel threatened. Anything could happen anywhere at any time. Not long ago, just look at the plot to destroy those airliners. And this is only the tip of the iceberg so to speak.
However, we can't live in fear and let this destroy our peace of mind; This is exactly what the terrorists expect of us, sad as it is, violence is getting worse.

When terrorism is allowed to affect us (affect the way we live and feel) then they win. I refuse to change one thing I do. I plan to continue going on vacations, working at my craft, loving my family, investing in the stock market, and so forth. That does not mean I do not understand the danger of hiding one's head in the sand. I, like the vast majority of Americans, am now more vigilant than before. Most of us are watching for suspicious packages, suspicious people, and events happening at the wrong time or place. I also believe that most Americans, like me, would act to stop a terrorist if we saw one about to do his evil. So no, the sorry cowards who do such things have not made me afraid. They have made me very careful and very angry.

I don't feel threatened by terrorism, but if you're referring to the current acts/attempts carried out by young Muslims I am afraid of the underlying issues. If the matter of Israel v The Palestinians were dealt with fairly,I'm certain attacks on US and other international civilians would cease.Alternatively,if if the status quo remains unaltered,ie Israel is allowed to do anything it likes, sometime quite soon, they [the Israelis],will use nuclear weapons.God only knows what the consequences will be after that.Israel is the real threat to the future of the world

No I am not threatened by terrorism. As an American who grew up under the Cold War and the A Bomb hanging over my head, I absolutely REFUSE to be afraid of anything. Thes people ijn government who cry out BE AFRAID have no idea what a REAL American is. I will not hide under a rock everytime someone says that someone else wants to kill me, and to those who say they would like to I say BRING IT ON! But I will not be afraid. Death comes to us all and for anyone who comes into MY back yard it will come quickly for them. By the way Heaven becomes Hell when 72 virgins becomes 72 nagging wives.

Yes and No.I am as a taxes payer in the United States and more crazy things happened to my life. I am anoying when I fly and I watch news all the time.( not just U.S.news but several sources ) I am not happy that my government and my American people spend so much money for security measurement .We went to 2 wars and nothing progress in my opinion and only small group of people get rich from doing business from this war. Some of them even cheat and lie by taking public money to their own pockets. The American government passed the Patriotic Act and my life changed forever. After then,I found out that my family had to pay taxes more than the 2% of the filty rich because,of new taxes law changed.Meanwhile, our govrnmemt sent the troops to Iraq in order to free Iraq people and my troop has not come back yet.The amount of men and women went to Afganistan and Iraq approximately 150,000.Now the American went to the Depression era becuse,we spent too much in wars and there are no jobs at home. Our government allowed the corperations outsourcing the jobs to oversea and allow H1B 200,00 working hi tec visas to obtain this year. There go my American people 's jobs gone forever, you can see the example from Silicon Valley.Everytime I hear the economy news I have no hope for my new generation.By the way the government raise the student loan to 8.2% and it really hurts people who really want to have a higer education.Beside the Patriotic Act we had incident about crossing the Geneva Convention by abusing the retainers as well as the Iraq prisoners.Sham and embarrass for American to hear and now the high court watchs this case closely. The judge in Ohio ruled the wire tapping our citizens is unconstitution and now it is going to open a can of worm for more law suits to come by the American ACLU.I do not mind to fight groups of terrorism an eye to an eye.Not hit and run like what they are doing now and this groups ot trerrorism call upon the citizens of good Muslim around the globe to fight the American people and government.I have known several Muslim persons in my hometown and non of them associate with terrorisom Group except they are good citizens who obey laws and pay taxes every year.I do not feel threatened by them but I do not like my freedom is limited and I am tired of propaganda warfare and small groups of people who benefit from the wars and the looser are me and the American people who do not dig deep enough about the real situation and what her country is doing? I urge everyone reads and writes and discusses to find out more about current events and the refugees around the world in which the wars are taking places and it seemed like no one cares.I am grateful that I still have a place to call home but my heart and soul goes with the refugees who had no home and money to start their new lives.

The reality is that terrorism exists and we are threatened by it...... It is the fear that is created by terrorism that should be dealt with and not one of us should choose to live in fear as it will give the terrorist victory over us. In sum terrorism exists and will exist but the fear can be controlled.
