I'm afraid of heights and am afraid of roller coaster rides (mostly the ones with high drops). Should I be afraid of going on most water park rides then?

nah. u should get rid of those fears like I did long ago. look. I use to be scared. but all roller coasters are fun. if u don't go on them, u'll miss out on the fun. after u go on one, u'll want to go on it a second time. unless it was really lame. and water rides shouldn't be too scary for u. they're fun.

Don't let the Fear of Rollercoasters get to you- You will miss out on a lot of fun. Personal Experience: My sibings and thier friends were going to Kings Dominion in Doswell, VA. They said that if I went with them I would have to ride every ride they did. My first RollerCoaster ride was Volocano- I was hooked. Since then I've been to Six Flags America and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

I'm afraid of heights to but after a few rides you're not

Fear of spiders or frogs or heights or whatever, are just fears we make up to cover what we are really afraid of. Since we do it early in life we lose track of that fact. Having said that though, it is possible to overcome the substituted fear (and possibly eliminate some of the original fear at the same time. After all fear is just fear wherever it comes from.) If you seriously want to overcome this problem you could find a therapist who will gradually introduce you to the feared situation until you can handle it. There are also hypnotists around who can reprogram you to believe that you are not afraid.. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Fears are never so bad when they're faced up to. :)

Water slides are nothing like roller coasters. They are considerably slower, smaller, and more boring.

yea, there sorta the same thing, but there are alot of rides that you would probably find alot of fun there, if you don't mined telling your friends you don't want to go on the other ones.

you shouldn't be afraid because there are safety guides in that ride. if not, then don't ride because there can be a big accident.
