I suspect you ARE married. I suggest you go to the cops, and report him for bigamy. A divorce is a matter of public record. Lacking records, you ARE married.

I have to agree with all the others. get a lawyer. And, if you were married to him for 10 years or more, you can draw from his Social Security if and when you become eligible to draw. Makes no difference if he is remarried. Most lawyers will see you for a consultation and not charge you unless you chose to retain his services. He may even tell you exactly what and where to search for the paperwork, because if you are divorced, there is paperwork about it in some courthouse. Don't let the creep get away with any more!

No Paper no Divorce. No record of it No divorce. If you never went to Court and signed papers No Divorce. Tell you x husband if he is even an x to produce divorce papers or your going to go to the police.
Lady find out if you are really divorced. If you aren't him losing his job is the least of his, your and his other wife's problems.

if you were divorced by your husband you would have been served with the divorce papers before the case went to court .if there is no record of the divorce then there hasn't been one and that means he is still married to you .if he has remarried his new girlfriend ( and i think he lies about this) then he has committed bigamy and can be jailed .go to your local court house and ask them to find out if there has been a divorce or not. if not then take out a court order for maintainence from him for yourself.

He's the one who needs to produce those divorce papers. Sounds like he's giving you the run around about this and is remarried without being divorced. You need to check deeper into this.

Get a lawyer immediately. Make sure you actually are divorced. If you're not, he'll get in big trouble for being remarried, abd you'll have rights to his assets.

He sounds like a bigamist to me. See a lawyer immediately and find out what your rights are. It sounds to me like he is due for a rude awakening.

Get a lawyer quick. If he is better off than you, you are entitled to support, probably retroactive.
