In other words I am trying to have a baby and just ended my period on August 3rd and stopped taking the pill about a week ago. My doctor is giving me six months to get pregnant and if I don't get pregnant within that time frame he's going to do a hystarectamy.(sp?) The reason for the hystarectamy(sp?) is because I am having problems with my periods. The doctor said that my overies(sp?) are twice the size than they are suppose to be and that is why I am having trouble getting pregnant and having trouble with my period. Also does anyone know of any over the counter vitamins that will help me to get pregnant?

the 14th day...counting the 1st day of your period as day no 1.......so on day 14 that's the best day to get pregnant............and sure your doctor has missd something coz what u say that he told doesn't make sense at all.........

I think you should get a second opinion. Anytime you need to have a something done to your body you always should get a second opinion or even a third one. I'm no doctor but it seems to me that if you are having problems with your female organs then you shouldn't be trying to get pregnant you may put yourself at risk for worst health problems or even death.
But if you must get pregnant! first you need to get a ovulation kit to help you figure out the best times to have sex. Also when you are ovulating your discharge becomes a lil thick like paste and a very creamy white color. But I have noticed people who always want to get pregnant never do but the ones that just have sex and aren't thinking about having childrens always seem to be the ones who end up getting pregnant. So just don't think about it and just do it like nike! LOL

First, it's hysterectomy and you had BETTER GET A SECOND OPINION NOW! Dear, there are no vitamins that will help you get pregnant, and I think what you need is some EDUCATION in that area. Again, go to ANOTHER DOCTOR because the one you are going to doesn't sound very good. You need more help than we can give you here.

go to a health food store they may be able to help you with the vitamins. Get an ovulation kit. It will tell you the best possible day to get pregnant

it may take at least 2 or 3 months if you just got off the pill. But it may just take this month. Go to babycenter.com and look at their "store" they have a ton of otc fertility aids.

You need to get a ovulation kit and some pre-natal vitamins that include folic acid!!! Good luck and i hope it all goes well!!!
