footpath rage- the battle of who moves out of whose way when 2 people are walking towards each other....?

Haha so that's what you call it! I am a fast-walker and live in New York City. I like to pass people on the sidewalk and I usually end up with situations like this or just other peolple that simple won't get out of my way. Footpath rage, hehe. Yeah it's annoying, I want to move at a speedy pace, usually along with the music I am listening to!

Being a peace-loving person I've come to realise that life is too short for the piffling kind of confrontations you describe. I would move out of the way and continue with my life, instead of trying to "win" in a situation like that. I honestly don't see the point of being confrontational because "pride" is involved.
