according to archimedes' principle, you can float the boat if it can displace the water greater than its own weight.
so you would require a minimum of just greater than10kg water to float your 10 kg boat.
REMEMBER: THE MAXIMUM CONCENTRATION OF WATER SHOULD BE AROUND YOUR BOAT.

1) How far you want to sail
2) How deep the water you want to sail over
3) What kind of water you wish to sail over
