What do you call your
iced carbonated cola type stuff in the glass?
I know different regions of the US call it different things. What about other places?

I'm from Detroit, where it's called POP, but I live in the south now, where people say "you want a coke? what kind?"...lol

Coke, everything is called coke..like ya said...then ya gotta ask..what kind. Don't know WHY but i grew up hearing it and it stuck.
i lived a bit further north for a bit and everyone said soda, or soda pop. i thought THEY were the strange ones.

soda. and we tend to call everything a coke..mountain dew, sprite, seven up etc...Like, You want a coke? Then we get the name of what kindof 'coke' they want, be it dr pepper or pepsi.
Little wierd but it is probably due to all the coke that used to be in coke when it was the only soda around.

I like room-temperature Diet Cokes in a can. Oddly enough, Kroger Big K Diet sodas taste exactly the same to me, but most people disagree.

In Canada it is POP.. and I like to drink Coke ( actual coke) but prefer iced tea.. but that isn't carbonated!

pretty much every soda is just called "coke" down south whethere its a dr. pepper, sprite, or root beer. all carbonated soda is coke

we call it coke here in texas, regardless of the type. (ex: Hey could you hand me a coke? Yeah, what kind? A mountain dew)

in WI we call it soda, whether it's a soft drink or a soda water. and we don't really have soda water around here either.
