i want to know people honest oppions of what they think a salior, and what they do. some think where fighting, cusing, drunks. but that the worst i hear people call us. others think were awsome cause we give up so much to help otheres. but i want to know what all you people really think of us. honest. truth is the weapon which can fight back the darkness of lies and illusion.

Military service is a very honorable gift you give to us as Americans. I have heard silly stories of sailors who party etc. Letting off a little steam is perfectly normal, you are in harm's way. You are protecting our freedoms, and putting your life at risk in doing so. You are not compensated nearly enough for the risk and hard work you perform. I commend you and salute you. My Grandfather was in the Navy in WWII. He served his country well and was one of the most amazing men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Thank you for your courage and service. Well, of course I think that you're all cussing, fighting drunks (since that's the way you're portrayed in the movies) but that you've all got big hearts and love helping others by doing dangerous stuff (since that's the way you're portrayed in commercials), but there's one thing I can't keep from coming back to. Another word for "Sailor" is "Seaman" which just makes me chuckle. :)

Earlye in the morning?
Put him in the scuppers with the hose pipe on him
Hoist him aboard with a running bowline
Put him in the brig until he's sober.
Make him turn to at shining bright work.
