make a small incision in the base of the egg, drain out the content. Place a burning candle at the opening to heat the air inside the eggshell, release and let it float away. I think the ancient chinese children use this as a form of entertainment.

it can be done with simple shock absorbing padding. Did one from 100 feet up back in like 2nd grade. Youll need some dense foam, and some softer stuff. The dense to make sure you dont over soften the impace and just compress so the egg hits the ground, and the soft to make sure you dont break the egg.

by putting egg inverselly, now you will think whihc part of egg is its head then it is the thinner part along the lengh of egg.

You could put it in a secure container of water- or give it a parachute- or wrap it in foam- or tape. Or in a tuber-wear container wrapped in bubble wrap.

Tape it between two pillows.
Other than that, try packing it in something soft then putting it in a box or something.

Pack it up using Styrofoam and tape. I did this in school and it worked.
