its a good omen.it means prosperity for whoever uses the numbers.so buisnesses tend to use it.you will see it has a high frequency in phone numbers.its also the yinnest of the yin numbers from 1-9.also has connection to the war of the 8 princes.also sounds similar to the word "fa" a cantonese word meaning prosperity.the chinese word is "ba".
anyway on a different note whithout relevance how old are?

I think its a lucky number that if on car plates etc attracts high prices also I belive 3 is a very unlucky number and some business premises with 3 chimneys have a false one built to avoid it

In Cantonese (one of the gazillion chinese languages), the number 8 is pronounced as "FAHT".

Which sounds exactly like the Cantonese word for "luck".

don't know about that number but i do know it is really bad to write a Korean's name in red ink. they use red ink to show that a person is dead or died.
