But we do tend to follow (especially when we're younger) what we're told is beautiful (or HOT) at the time. The media has a lot to do with it.
And men like boobs because they don't have boobs (or not supposed to have them anyway).
But some men are leg men, some men like eyes.
Every man is different and I guarantee at least one is going to find you to be his perfect dream girl.

Not sure about your age. I'm in my 30's and I can't say that I agree with your theory. I guess it's what ever is attracted to a guy. I don't really care for a girl that wears a lot of make-up. I think a smart woman who's intelligence is a wonderful and powerful aphrodisiac. Coming from a guy, perhaps others are just too judge-mental about others.
In regards to your comment about "hooters". Boobs don't really matter for me. Granted they're fun to play with among other things during the right moment. I believe a woman needs to be looked at beyond her beauty and her body to respect her.

Beauty has always been subjective. Of course people want to be with attractive people - it's human nature. Men have always had ideas on beauty, and usually pursued women who they imagined to meet their standards. On the other hand, men used to be a lot more independent and able to think for themselves. Television and the enormous fixation on celebrities has caused people to have unrealistic standards - and sadly, very few people can think for themselves anymore. Instead of having individual beauty ideals, men are all talking to each other about the women exposed constantly in the media - supermodels and actresses.
I'm not saying they won't appreciate the normal beauty the rest of us tend to have, but give it a few years. They'll have to get over their frat boy phase.

Theory - guys go for the "hot" girls because the intelligence of most (not all) "hot" girls is below par. Therefore the guys have no fear of their below par intelligence being threatened. They're also after an easy lay for the same reason. I may be wrong, but I very much doubt it.
