In case one day I suffer mass memory loss, that way I have a written record of what happened on such and such a day. My husband's deployed to Afghanistan, so he can also see what I'm up to.

I'm not a blogger and I really don't understand it at all.
Perhaps if you are a celebrity or something, but do other people think that their life is so interesting that I want to spend hours and hours reading those boring entries? No.
I think people do it because they want to brag to the world. It's amazing that anyone reads other people's blogs. If they are doing it because they want to keep a history, then they could just type it up in Word.
