yes, just right click the song file in your Ipod library and click on "clear"

Yes you can. Just plug in your iPod to your computer with the included cable, and your iPod will show up on the left-hand side of iTunes. Click it, and you'll see all the songs that are on your iPod. Right click one of these songs, then click "delete". That's how you get rid of the songs on your iPod. =)
