My boyfriend thinks I'm weird b/c I'm not comfortable enough to walk around the house naked when it's just the two of us at home. Made me wonder if I was just an oddball. Oh, and please specify your gender, b/c I think men are probably more comfortable with their bodies generally.

I'm a female and the only person I am comfortable being naked around is my husband, whom I've known for over four years now. But I am definitely uncomfortable being naked around any other person, even if they are family or friends (even if they are female), which may sound weird. Maybe I just feel so close to him that it doesn't bother me. I think most women are somewhat self conscious about their bodies, because there are so many influences out there as to what a woman should look like, such as on TV and in magazines ( I really don't fit these "standards"). And then you may feel like you are always being judged, and maybe you yourself are judging your body and comparing it to societies examples. I just think you should be who you are; no one can force you to feel ok naked in front of your partner. First, you have to be comfortable with your body and like/love/appreciate it for what it is.

Before our daughter was born, it was never a problem for us to walk around the house nude. Now that she's here, the behavior has been curtailed a bit. We don't do it when she's awake, but we still do it on occasion. It's comfortable for the both of us.

You're not weird, you're just not comfortable. I'm currently partnerless but I hang out naked regularly, man or not. I'm a girl. Naked isn't for everyone and tell your man making an issue of it isn't going to make you any more comfortable.

I'm ok with it, but don't do it all day. Just to go to the living room to get something or to get cool for a few minutes then put back on.
