I am trying to drink at least a glass of water a day but when I drink water my stomach starts to hurt and sometimes even i get nauseous.. people have told me to take small sips of water but it is the same thing. I dont drink more than a 1-2 glasses of water/juice/milk/tea/sodas a day in total. I just dont know what to do because I know its not a healthy thing to do and I dont even get thirsty what is wrong

try leaving a glass out at night......sipp it first thing in the morning....water too cold can pull the digestive track out of line becauser it draws heat to the tummy.....if yr exercising and working...the sore tummy can be from a lack of sound nutritional build up,salt imbalance and or the shoes you wear........i'd check yr toes and fingers....could tell you immediately.....hold the second knuckle of your middle finger for a few minutes...if you find a sore tum tum....thats it.....hold yr toes then go back to middle finger.........a water shortage can show up in muscles...not being balanced....if thers a lot of chlorine in yr water.....bingoget a chlo remover.....chlorine is a part of the salt we need..sodium chloride....and it should come from sea or kosher salt or from the vegies we eat....the bleached table salt pours good tastes good but.......
another example is chlorine is used to bleach sugar.....makes it nice and white..also hard to digest

The normal advice from medical practitioners is that one should drink at least six glasses of water per day. Firstly I understand that you have not been taking water regularly. The pain you have in your stomach could be due to gas formation in your stomach or on the other hand it could even be gastritis with ulcer. The safest thing you could do is to a see a doctor and get an endoscopy done to find out the root cause of you problem.

you are chronically dehydrated! you should have 7-8 glasses of water a day! my advice is to push through that nausea and drink drink drink! seriously! it only hurts because your body has over-adjusted to your current water-drinking habits. you need to get on the water wagon! you'll feel soo much better. you don't even know.

You really should see a doctor, you're not getting enough fluids at all. You should get about 8 8oz glasses of a hydrating liquid every day!

Talk to a doctor about it. That's not a healthy amount to be drinking.
