If you did wore some kind of hosiery, such as nylons, with your prom dress, you can tell what kind are they (panythose, knee-high, etc.) and what color.

You don't wear hosiery with a prom dress. Prom is held during the late spring months so it would be too warm and out of season for that. Plus it would look bad with a prom dress.

I wore a girdle and stockings with my prom dresses. One dress was like the one in Gone with the Wind and had a hoop petticoat. Did I ever have a surprise when I sat down in my dates car! My dress with over my head. I was glad that he was walking to the other side of the car. The next problem came when I went to the potty. One of the older girls, who had worn a similiar dress the year before, held the skirt of my dress while I used the bathroom. Then I held her dress for her to go. That is the only time I have ever done that in my life. For the second prom, I made sure I had a different style dress.
