This man and his cohorts are terrorists in their own country. Law and order, health care and education are things of the past. Inflation and corruption are rampant. Terror camps exist! Is there nothing we can do to stop him?

Because he's black. Its trendy nowadays to see a black person doing bad things and avert ones eyes because "bloody hell that wasnt meant to happen" if he was white Guardian readers would be having peace rallys galore waving bits of card and chanting "out monster out" but as he's black they pretend that its not happening.
And no im not racialy biased

There is only so much America and Britain can do - these countries don't have very much leverage, and invading a country to topple a nasty dictator isn't really an option anymore. The country with the most influence over the region is South Africa, and it would help is Thabo Mbeki would take a stronger stand against what Mugabe is doing instead of dithering. Other African leaders should realise Mugabe is damaging his own people, not standing up to Britain.

A large group of people actually voted for Mugabe - although in western media they reported the elections as corrupt. Under what pretence would the west invade Zimbabwe? - It is arguably democratic.

I cannot think of one country in Africa that is free of corruption and above the problems you mentioned.

Should we invade them all? Can you imagine the pc brigade if we did?

If Kuwait had been a grower of carrots and not oil, there would never have been a first Gulf War. That's the difference, no oil.
If Saddam was bad enough to be removed as head of a country, why the hell are we pussyfooting around with that Black Hitler?
And no, that is not a racist comment, I would say the same if he was white, yellow or red!

It has no oil. Mugabe was chosen by the UK to become president in the 70s so maybe they feel embarassment over this.

Interesting how it always comes down to America helping others, isn't it?

We'll get around to you, sooner or later. But remember, freedom isn't free. If you're not willing to put your own life on the line, don't expect much help from others, including America.

Maybe the people of that country should make false claims that they have found large reserves of oil.??? America would onlt be too happy to help then.
