I have worked the night shift 2 nights a week for the last 6 month and have seen about 80 movies on those shifts. Alot of them had these 2 guys in them but after meet the parents I would have to say DeNiro is better.

I am watching deer hunter right now, as for scar face that only became real popular with rappers over the last 10 years or so its still a great movie but rappers over rate it.

I work in a network monitoring center, for a telecom equipment maker which mean unless something happens I dont do crap, good thing our equipment is kick *** or I would be busy

Where are you working that you can watch movies :-) ?
I vote DeNiro. I think his range is broader -- he's been a good guy and a bad guy, action and comedy. I can't think of any comedy that Pacino's been in.

I think in the annals of history, DeNiro will go down as the better actor, if only because the last several "silver screen" films for Pacino have been flops.
Personally, I feel that...wow, even with side-by-side comparisons, this is tough. Serpico or Mean Streets? Dog Day Afternoon or Taxi Driver? Scarface or Goodfellas? Scent of a Woman or A Bronx Tale? Then, there are the shared films The Godfather Part II and Heat. It's like the trying to determine who'd win in their prime: Ali or Tyson? Pacino and DeNiro are definitely two hard-hitting heavyweights of their industry.
But, if I had to choose one, I'd go with the "Raging Bull" Robert DeNiro because of his method of intense expression through body language - look at Casino or Goodfellas, or, hell, even Meet the Parents.

Very hard to judge actors unless they play the same part, but for the sake of the question, I have to go with DeNiro. I think he's slightly more talented. I loved his performances in Godfather II, GoodFellas, Heat, Meet The Fockers, City by the Sea, so many more. I thought Al Pacino was amazing in Scarface, and I enjoy several of his performances as well, but I have to say DeNiro is the better actor.

I liked Pacino in Serpico, The Godfather's, Scarface and other oldie's he played in. I also like De Niro especially in Good Fellas, they are both equally great performers, it all depends on what type of character they are playing in a specific movie.
They both have that Mafia sterotyped to their acting resume, but De Niro pulled it off real good when he starred in the movie " The Fockers" with Adam Sadler..That was too funny!
I like them both!

Pacino, by a landslide, u ever seen Scarface? everyone knows him by that movie and everyone knows about that movie, the only movie that comes to mind that was worth remembering with dinero was The Deer Hunter

Al Pacino all the way. DeNiro just seems like he would be a complete a.ss off camera so he loses points on my scoreboard.

First of all...i have to say that am the hugest movie buff (i go to movie conventions..thats how sad i am..lol)...and by far..i LOVE DENIRO..just love..everything hes done...he has more of a broader range of films..and by far the best movie that i think in my opinion he has done is Cape Fear..very underrated in my opinion..i honestly have never been so scared watching a movie..because of him..especially in the end before he sinks in the water..AHH

ooh guy. it incredibly is a no longer person-friendly selection. Im no longer in all probability into actors, Im greater into song, yet i like the two a style of fellows. If I had to decide for, i'd flow with Robert De Niro... yet i like the two those men.

Lets break it down(just a few) Pacino( 3 godfathers,serpico,Scarface,carlitos way,heat)DeNiro(mean streets,taxi driver,raging bull,goodfellas,cape fear,casino,deer hunter) well heres a few kick azz movies they were in so id say i cant decide its a draw in my book..

neither one is a good actor. every part they play is the same one. ever since godfather, every part pacino has played has been quiet and understated until the time comes for him to start yelling, and get over the top.
deniro has played the same stupid mafioso part so many times, he really thinks hes a mobster
