I just watched the Seahawks first pre-season game, and there were a lot of mistakes by both defense and offense. I know that a lot of the players will not make the team, that they are being observed and every move is being analazed.

So, how important is it for these players to do well, and why aren't they doing well?

Well for one thing cameras, tv crews ,and reporters being around makes some people a lil scared. Plus playing the first game makes people a lil scared. Its just their nerves. It is very important to do well in whateva you do but everyone needs to remember nobody on this earth is perfect.

If you don't make the team, you won't be playing. You will be sitting in the stands watching. But I think they have most of the team already picked out. The presesaon is a way to see how new guys fit in with the way the team plays. I don't think they are making too many decisions on who stays and goes based on preseason play.

It is preseason fool. 50 to 75% of the team has already been determined. Come on Joe; get with the program.

They're too nervous because, as you said, they're being watched, analyzed, and scrutinized for every move they make, good or bad.
I would think it's very important to them if they make the team or not.
It's not important to me at all if they make it or not unless one's my husband.
