Is a 572 engine the biggest motor of a Chevrolet truck? If not, then what is it?

572 is not a stock motor in any vehicle. But there are many builders out there that make motors much larger. Mostly for racing. They are not good road motors. Some only get about 3 to 5 miles to the gallon. 454 is the largest stock engine offered.

A 572 is a high performance crate engine developed by GM performance and has never been used a production engine for anything including trucks: however it is based on the tall deck big blocks used in heavy trucks during the 70s.

The 572 is a crate motor, like other people have said; Chevy doesn't put engines that large into their production cars for a very good reason. But it *is* the largest crate motor Chevy will consent to selling the general public, and it does have truck applications.

I don't think 572 was a production motor, but rather a crate motor.

how big of a truck a jimmy diesel ?1000 CID or 454 396 big block 400 427 stroked motor bigger is not better when it come to motors want power buy a FORD Power Stroke Diesel and will crush your cheby
