How can you connect the flight of bottle rockets to Newton's Laws?

The rockets operate based on the third law of Newton which states the for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The action is being caused by the expanding gas, which by leaving the nozzle transfers its momentum to the body of the rocket. For more information refer to reference provided.

I'd try to google "Bottle Rockets" and "Newton's Law".

You should toss something in there about gravitational potential energy.

Gravitational Potential Energy = Mass * g(gravity (9.81 m/s^2)) * Height

Though i suppose Newton did the gravity thing right?
