tylonol # 3 with codien, does it take to seriosly hurt yourself,not me, a friend has a very bad habit of taking way to many & I,m worried, thanks.

Codeine is addictive. Where does your friend get them? For recreation none is recommended. For moderate pain take one, for severe pain take two. For recreation take none.

I think you can take 2 tablets in one dose you can take more than 8 within 24 hours, the lighter the pain the less you take, the codien can be addictive

Usually a double dose is safe (enough), but going above that is never good.
He's probably addicted to them, which is a problem that has nothing to do with recommended doses.

More than 10 or so, and you'll be pucking them all back up. It's pretty hard to hurt yourself with codeine. I know, I've been trying to all my life. Sure is fun though.
