sounds like you've got mild heat exhaustion....
stay indoors in a cool environment. loosen all tight clothing-wearing something light like cotton t-shirts and shorts is best. drink lots of water and gatorade to replace the salt and fluids the body lost while being out in the sun.
take cool showers or baths-hot water will trap heat and cause you to become more dehydrated and could make the burn worse.
continue to apply the aloe vera gel-if you legs have blisters on them-you need to be seen by a dr so they can prescribe you silvadene-it's a zinc-oxide based cream that will help treat the burn and help it breathe.
don't eat anything heavy for the next few hours or until the nausea and headache go away. getting fluids into your system is the most important thing. do not drink anything with alcohol or caffeine in it-these will actually make dehydration worse.
you can take ibuprofen for the headache and burn pain and swelling. take 200-400mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
report to the emergency room if :
- you develop a fever of 101 or more
- you start feeling dizzy or pass out (911 needs to be called for any loss of consciousness)
-you get blurry vision or start to get disoriented or confused
-you have severe vomiting for more than two hours (not being able to keep even water down)
these are signs of severe dehydration and need immediate medical attention
hope u feel better soon

1st a cool bath with no soap, ice is also good. No oil based creams, butter, milk or vitamin E. This will only cook the already hot skin causing blisters.
Your aches and chills are caused from the the burn. Take Ibuprofen (if not allergic) as directed for several days. This will help the burning, pain, swelling & headache. Eat some protein with the medicane.
After 24 hrs when skin is no longer painful or hot to the touch, apply neosporene for 2 weeks. This will help heal the skin & moisturize it. Wash with mild liquid soap (won't dry skin). Don't scrub or peel skin, it will irritate it. Wear loose fitted clothes.
Drink alot of water, & eating well will help you heal.

1. Heat Exhaustion is your best diagnoses.
2. Drink plenty of water, but be sure to spread your water intake throughout the day.
3. Take a lukewarm bath, and relax.

sounds like you've got heat exhaustion. the only thing to do for that is to wait it out. drink as much water and you can handle, keep aloe vera (or another OTC burn med supplied at any local pharmacy) handy, and try not to stay in the sun as long next time!!
=)
good luck!

You are lucky you only have heat exhaustion now.......but continue like this and you could be a prime canditate for skin cancer in later life. Use a high factor sunscreen and cover up in the sun in future.......Skin cancer kills!

I apply white vinegar to my sunburns. It's cheap and it takes away the burn. Anybody heard if this?
