I have had my iPod since Oct 2005. Yesterday, i put it on charge and it normallytake 4 hours to fully charge, but for some reason it will not fully charge.

I have listened to it everyday and charge it everyday.

What could be wrong

First of all Ipod batteries are not designed to be recharged every day. Only when it is nearly drained should you charge it.

Second, if you've gone through 300 cycles you're about 1/3 the way through its lifetime, and as the battery gets older it will hold less and less charge.

The battery is probably to blame. From what I heard you can't replace the battery, you have to purchase a whole new device.

Perhaps you should look into another brand, one who's battery reputation is not so bad?

You need to run it completely FLAT, then re-charge fully once a month.....
