Difference between Supima combed cotton and Egyptian Cotton?

Pima cotton is more of a t-shirt type cotton weave. Egyptian cotton is a tighter more durable weave for sheeting.

when the cotton is spun, longer fibers are used for Egyptian Cotton, this gives it a silkier feel.
