Keep it till lucas dies then its vallue will double. then get it apprasied and try to sell it to private collectors or just ebay it.

i would do that if you want to get top money for it. with out an authentication it is just another book with a name written in it. Kind of like the difference between a 5 dollar full blood dog and a 500 dollar full blood dog is a blue piece of paper from Akc.
i would check out Mr. Lucas web site, I mean he must have one. Doesn't all celebrities have a fan club. I would go to that outlet for information. I bet you could sell it and get it authenticated for free there.

Yes, books authenticated & autographed by the author command a higher price when being sold. I imagine there are several people or companies that are skilled in authenicating Lucus books & Star Wars items.

You'll get more money for it if it's authenticated. Find an appraiser who specializes in movie memorabilia.

heck no....I'd say go to a legit comic book store and have a chat and he'll tell you the best way. But if he tries to buy it...DON'T LET HIM/HER...search around first....get an average price..thhhhhen go to the highest bid....badda bing badda boom.
