I can't go back to the doctor because schools about to start, the doctor will not give me refills on my cream (that works really good) without making an appointment. I can't miss school at the begining of the year. My ecezma is really really bad right now, I
have no cream to make it go away. I will have to go to the doctor sometime but until then what am I going to do about my ecezma.
Its all over my body.

Schedule your doctors appointment after your school day. If you must miss school then you must, for your health. If the doctor has the cream then go and visit and get some! Feel Better.

ehh...I knwo how you feel. eczema flares up at the most inconvenient times huh?

if you are useing "tide" change the dtergent, tide will make your eczema flare up. also some scented soaps like dial can do it too.

try a normal heavy-duty moisterizer. I use Keri or "olay body quench" both very good. it wont show imediate results but keeping your skin moisterized will help it a lot. with this dry summer weather, that simportant since eczema tends to get worse with dry weather.

other than that I would make an appointment for after school if at all possible. it wouldnt take long just to get the perscription

=) good luck! I know it bites but hang tight...with time it'll die down with teh right moisterizer.

I had eczema when I was younger. It is very important that you take care of it now so that your skin does not permanently scar (like mine did). Go to the doctor as soon as possible. In the meantime you can try an over-the-counter hydro-cortisone cream such as Cortaid (the major drug stores also sell generic versions).

It's also a good idea to treat your skin as gently as possible by using soap made for sensitive skin (Neutrogena works for me) and lotions made especially for people with dry skin or eczema (Eucerin). Make sure your lotion does not contain alcohol which is drying. Also try to bathe only when needed to maintain your skin's moisture during this flare-up. Showers are better than baths.

Eczema.

Very bad skin condition huh?

I suggest... not scratching. Taking baths in lukewarm water, keeping yourself clean. Moisturize your body. Do you want to take allergy pills? Reactine works WONDERS for eczema. It stops your body's allergic reaction, so you will not itch.

I also suggest changing your diet. Spicy foods and excessive amounts of MSG may cause eczema flare ups.

p.s. Do not listen to these "witch doctors" that tell you to bathe in sea water. Why would sea water help eczema? Kill bacteria? Cause discomfort and dry out the skin? My god... Eczema is not caused by bacteria or viruses. It is not because we are "unclean". So no sea water! Ew!

That is probably the worst part of panic attacks - they come out of nowhere which only exacerbates the fear, because you don't know when or where it will happen. But to treat panic attacks, the first thing you need to know is what they are. Panic attacks are simply your body's way of trying to protect itself. It's called "fight or flight" - it's just a defense mechanism that your body uses to protect itself from harm. For example, if you are really being attacked, your body reacts in the same way as it does when you have a panic attack. Your heart begins to pump faster (feeling like pounding or racing), causing adrenaline to race through your veins, which leads you to breathe faster and more shallow, causing light-headedness and that feeling that you are going to pass out. Your arms and legs may begin to tingle because of the adrenaline and your pupils become dilated. Your body is getting ready to flee the situation or fight. With a panic attack, there is no actual threat - your body is protecting itself from nothing - but it still reacts the same way. So, here's the beauty of the treatment - you can control this. Once you learn to do this, the panic attacks will subside and then disappear. Some techniques that I have taught clients include: - deep breathing techniques - this is simple and extremely effective - just practice slow, deep breaths - try counting to 4 in your head as you inhale. By the time you reach 4, your lungs should be full and you can slowly exhale. If you finish inhaling before 4, you may be breathing too quickly and too shallow. Do this at least 10 times. - progressive muscle relaxation - you can google this to get specific instructions - but it is primarily using deep breathing and tensing and relaxing the different muscle groups of your body - very easy and effective - imagery - imagine yourself somewhere else - somewhere you feel safe and comfortable - calming, soothing sayings - I have had clients carry around an index card with statements written on them to repeat to themselves when they are beginning to panic - doesn't have to be long. This could be as easy as: "it's okay" "calm down" "just breathe" "it's only anxiety and I can handle this" - focus on external stimuli (externalization) - pay attention to your surroundings - describe your surroundings to yourself in detail - this is a simple technique that is designed to take your mind off your inner feelings and thoughts Sorry for the novel - not typically like me, but I have had numerous panic attacks. The last one I had was the first night "Lord of the Rings" came out (the first movie). I was sitting between a huge, not-so-nice-smelling gentleman and my husband. The theater was packed and I started to panic - my husband offered to take me out of there, and I refused. I practiced the above techniques and I got through it. Haven't had one since. It really does work. Seek treatment from a therapist and they can work through this with you. Good luck!

I kind of understand your situation, I had a girlfriend from Europe, this may sounf very unconventional, but this has worked for a lot of people. get a jar of pure bee's honey and apply where it is needed. actually if you continue this over period of time, it may help to cure you too.Good luck and let me know how it worked if you plan to use it.

have you considered you may have a food allergy?

try to determine if you have other symptoms you may not have noticed. if the skin problems come and go you will want to determine why. try keeping a journal of your day to day diet for instance or note any activities which may later help you deduce what you skin problem is reacting from.
