Look at your calculator's book. There is a Solver command built into the calculator that may do it for you. If not, if you moved everything in your equation to the left side making it 6x + 3 - 21 = 0, you could go to your Y= button and enter 6x + 3 -21 as your equation. If you pushed 2nd and TRACE to get to the CALC commands, you can use ZERO to find where it equals zero. If you hit enter 3 times, it will give you the answer 3. If there's more than one answer to an equation, you must position the flashing dot close to the zero you are trying to find and repeat this for each root. Try it for x^2 - x - 6. You should get 3 and -2 as answers.

I just got the same caculator too! They say it runs faster, but only on longer problems that require more caculations then the simple ones that I use.

I used to know how to do it, there is a way but it has been three years since I took any kind of math...I am experimenting with it now, so if I come across the way, I will update this answer.

I just got the programs from Highersat.com They can do that type of problem and many others. It has been a great help in my math class and it really did help my SAT score. You should give it a try.
