She's definitely made some contradictory remarks about the Italian team which I mentioned in a previous question... I know she's upset that her team Germany's lost to Italy - hell I'm Australian I can empathise but I wont sympathise - I won't lower myself to that level, but that doesn't explain the sudden contradictions. She should learn to form an opinion and STICK TO IT!!!

I've had enough with this whole forum, to tell you the truth. I'm sorry for the nice people I've met here (you know you are one of them, and as for the others, they know who they are) but I can't take it anymore. I'm on Answers to have fun and if possible learn something new (yes, in the Photography section that's still possible) not to see people fight or to be insulted -- if not directly, most of my answers here are getting thumbs down just because people know I support Italy. Come on, that's crazy!
We can't ask everybody to like Italy or be happy because they won. But we have a right to be respected like everybody else, and when someone says that "Italy can't win with dignity" they are clearly talking about Italy's supporters on this forum (not the football team, whom they are free to dislike, although such hatred isn't justified at all). I don't really care what they think, but still, it's not nice to get on here and read all those insulting comments all the time...

Even though I'm not a fan of Italy I agree with you that Lady_Starlight is very insulting and personally she should grow up and accept the fact that Italy is the better team.You guys have proof that you're better you won the trophy.
It's very sad that people have to insult eachother over sport.

Yeah I sort of read her answer to the question 'Why dont the decent italian supporters do something to take care of the ones that give italy a bad name.' She really seem to be prejudiced agnst ALL the Italians. Personally I am a French supporter and i also like Germany but I am absolutely agnst her insulting all italians. i mean every team has good players an bad players. I guess she really does hate the Italians

I can say for sure that we Americans never stoop to the same level as you nationalists do when we compare teams. You people get downright ugly about it and theres no way you can justify it. You don't represent your own country well enough to be judging others.
Italy won.
France lost. (As did 30 others)
There are good players.
There are bad players.
Grow up.
Move on.

I'll let you know that my two nephews 1/2 french 1/2 italian did some italian bashing after the world cup and so did I, they thought the italians were too conceited and appeared childish.
