They don't have Adam's Apples because the voice box is not as big. The protrusion is necessary on the males so their voice can be deeper.

She was joking (get it, Adams Apple for men, Eve's apple for women?). Good one though. Yeah, females have what is known as an adams apple, but it is not as noticeable. You have an important gland located behind it, your thyroid, that the "adams apple" protects.

Well, the female's larynx doesn't grow as much so her adam's apple isn't as large.
