Hope! Sometimes what seems gone is temporary. Sometimes individuals and Nations make decisions that are temporary solutions to permanent problems, and sometimes it is the opposite. Like when a Nation decides to kill people in an effort to fix a temporary problem about borders, then the solution is worse than the problem.
For example, for an individual, depression can sometimes lead a person to think that suicide is a solution to their problems. But depression is a treatable condition, and the person could just tried to solve a temporary problem with a permanent solution.
Suicide is not the answer, nor is murdering yourself or innocent people.
People have been making these terrible mistakes for thousands of years, and it never really solves anything. But then people who are alive now have to love mankind and their children, or there is no hope that mankind will escape self-inflicted annihilation.
After all, we humans are clever enough to create terrible and effective ways of killing each other, but are we wise enough to really love ourselves and man or womankind? Are We?
