Why ask a question is you are going to answer it with a loaded response?

It should be up to the people of Lebanon to chose their own government. And without the interference of the US or Syria or Israel. Nasaralla has proven himself to be a strong and capable leader within the Hizbollah community but they only represent one part of the large country.

I think a more interesting question would be who is going to win the popular support of the Palestinian people? Hammas looks like a loser in this conflict, Israel has obviously been badly beaten and will have to prove their strength by killing as many innocent people as possible, while Hizbollah has shown that is a very viable and competent force to deal with. I wish them luck and hope they come out of this much stronger than when they started. But again, as far as Lebanon goes, it is for all the people to decide.

That's really up to the Lebanese. His position in the government is not important. What is important is that he is a terrorist and the U.S. government is at war with terrorist. This man should be hauled in and executed. Using civilians as human shields is a war crime, specifically targeting civilians is a war crime. He should be hunted down like the mad dog killer he is.

Americans support the rule of law, not democracy. Democracy is when two wolves and one sheep vote on what/or who is for dinner.

If the people of Lebanon want a terrorist as their leader then they want war with the U.S. and we should grant their wish. I would support a full scale nuclear attack against such a country. I'm weary of risking our troops in an attempt to save "innocents". I think the proper course would be nuclear annihilation. Perhaps the elimination of a small country like Lebanon could prevent the necessity of doing the same to Syria and Iran. And ultimately save more lives than it costed.

And no, I don't care what the Euro-weenies have to say about it.

If this person were made Prime Top Cheese of Lebanon it would surely lead to WW3. I am 70 years old and I would join the Marines.

sounds like a plan, if he is elected. however, i hink they should first support the democratically elected governments of Paelstine and Iran. perhaps we should be centering on tyrannical governments like that of Saudi Arabia.
