Are you saying that she has never EVER in her life had a period?
Or are you saying that she is very irregular and hardly ever has one?
To the person below, just because she doesn't have periods doesn't mean she must have a hysterectomy or she'll die.
Ok, if she has NEVER EVER in her life had a period, that is very unusual. She should see a Gynecologist about that. And she shouldn't put it off.
However, if she has had periods before, but she's irregular and doesn't have them very often, then there could be several reasons for that. Is she on any kind of birth control? some birth controls can stop your periods or make it to where you only have a few a year. However if she hardly ever has one and there is absolutely no reasoning for it, then again, she should see a doctor. It doesn't mean that there is for sure anything wrong. It could be something as simple as the doctor putting her on birth control pills to regulate her period...which happens alot.
please give us a little more specific information....then we can better answer you.

Yes it is. Actually she should see a Dr. They recommend that if you haven't had one by the time your 17 to go to the dr because something is up. Is your girlfriend on some kind of birth control that is affecting her cycle? Hmm. I'd like to know what comes of this. . . . Good Luck

Have you asked her why she doesn't have periods? If she doesn't know why, she should definitely go see a gynecologist. Is she pregnant? Could she be? How long have you known her? These are all questions only she can answer...so you need to go to her for information, as this is NOT normal.

are u sure? maybe she is on depo-povera birth control. or using "shots" birth control method..they give you a shot and you have no periods ever unless you stop with b-control shots.
