Why does this girl think you're her "best friend"? Have you previously been together intimately suggesting to her that you are her best friend? That would also explain why she would be trying to do "weird sexual things" with you now. A break-up would explain why you would block her facebook, ignore her texts, etc. Girls your age do experiment with sex. I sincerely doubt your Mom would be shocked if you spoke truthfully with her and asked her advice how to handle the situation with the birthday girl. If you have not pretended to be this girl's best friend nor been intimate with her, I would definitely tell your Mom the situation, as the girl could be imagining a relationship that is not real, which could result in big problems. If you have been this girl's friend and are just being a snob (as many teenagers can be), go to the party with a smile and have a good time.

my boyfriend did that. he could not attend the party since he was out of town. so he was suppose to call me that night. the excuse that he gave me was "i'm sorry for last nite. i duno how could u put up with my excuses. i actually overslept last nite.. ur the best thing ever happen in my life. i luv u, hunny.." ^__^ he sure had his 'punishment' the next day with or without his excuses... lol

if they are your friend, be honest with them, you shouldn't have to lie to your friends they should understand, if they are your friend, and they CAN'T understand, they weren't your TRUE friend in the first place!
