not realizing your are pregnant? I imagine this would have some severe consequences to your baby, such as high miscarriage rates? You know, they say the only safe sex is abstinence. But I'm sure there are people out there who got prengnant while on the pill. What was your eperience?

The baby will die, you will be sick, or worse, the baby will be deformed. The pill contains synthetic hormone of estrogen, in various degrees. The morning after pill contains the same hormones, only greatly increased amounts, which will prevent the fertilized egg from attaching to the wall of the uterus to grow. If high levels of estrogen, prevents attachment to the uterus, what else might it prevent in an unborn baby? If it's a girl, she could be born sterile, or prevent the growth of normal female hormones. No one even knows what it could do to a boy. It's a big risk, but first of all, one should stop taking it as soon as you find out you are pregnant, and that's for sure. Then, I would get an ultrasound as soon as possible to check for normal growth.
A few of my friends, had fraternal twins, as soon as they stopped taking the pill.

I got pregnant on the pill but as soon as i realized it i stopped taking the pill i would not have wanted to hurt or cause problems with my child in any way and i still had a miscarriage

i wouldn't use the pill if i were you
there are better methods of birth control such as barrier methods. if i were you i would go out and get a diaphragm. suppressing your hormones never did anyone any good.

you are right if you continue taking your birth control pill you could have a miscarriage or cause serious birth defects. or nothing could happen and you could have a very normal healthy baby.

it will have side effects on your baby like genetic problems, his growth will be affected, ie: not well developed , lack of feet etc. & when youre pregnant youre not allowed to take medications ie: for diarrhea.. bec all meds may affect your child unless it is prescribed by the dr

I was pregnant on the pill and found out early (the sickness and heartburn was driving me nuts)...........My daughter is almost 4 and she is a normal healthy child.......Thank God for no side effects on her.............
