You don't find Christian baiting and atheist antagonizing entertaining? or Republicant and Demigod sneering silly?
or Children blurting forbidden phrases or racist bastards bellowing like children amusing?
What will it ever take to entertain you? Sure there's a lot of serious discussin goin down on here. But that in and of itself can be entertaining.
My town is too small to afford people with brains, so I gotta come here n see what da city folk think. I done seen yer icon lurkin about the same questions that I've been at and that's yer problem, cause most of them questions are more serious than other parts of the site.
So go explore. have fun. and quit being so serious...

It all depends upon what sort of answer the quesioneer is looking for. Remember the old saying, "If you ask a stupid question, you get.....", and so on? Well, this is the same thing. Some questions are SO crazy/stupid/retarded - or just plain infuriating - that I feel COMPELLED to respond in kind!
On the other hand, if someone needs some genuine information or just an educated opinion that I feel I can help them with - that mode works well for me, too.
Yes, of course this is "entertainment" - but there's nothing wrong with it being "informative", as well. There is a time and a place for everything - the key is to consider your answer, based on the substance of the question being ASKED!

I'm only serious when someone asks a serious question. But I have been spending the better part of the last hour answering questions on who I think would win wrestling matches between cartoon animals! This is fun, is it not?

some people have serious questions and are looking for serious answers. sometimes words of comfort, advice or encouragement from a stranger will be of great benefit. And some people just take the questions and answers too seriously. Don't blow a gasket! Oh, and some are just plain cowards!

sometimes i am serious because there are things going on in my life and i would like to get as many points of view as i can on certain things... i also act silly on here too and i love reading some answers because some people say some really comical things.. but then that is the beauty of having this vehical we call the internet.. we are able to communicate with so many people and not pay to travel
