I need some information on a ritual done by I THINK were africans that included them scalping live tribe members...leaving their skull exposed...anyone give me information???

I think you are referring to Trepanning possibly...
I recall seeing a documentary where there was an Afrian tribe where the witchdoctor/ shaman / medicine man would drill out a section of the patients skull and you could actually see the outer membrane of the brain.
The procedure was intended to try to heal headaches, or migraines or something of the sort.
Unfortunately I dont recall the name of the documentary video...

I never heard about this.
Africa has lots of different peoples and worse things than this happened in ages past.

indians would scalp dead people, white men scalped live ones then killed 'em. never heard of it being done in africa, though.
