There is no provision for its "removal" and I wouldn't have it expunged. The fact you were charged with something will still remain on your record! It just won't say what and whether you were convicted(found guilty) or it was dismissed(found innocent, this is as close as the court gets to saying guiltless). Having your record expunged will only make it appear as if you were convicted of a misdemeanor and are covering it up.

The way it stands now you were charged with a crime and it was dismissed for the only probable reason that the court could not substantiate the (apparently wrongly brought) charge against you(your innocent or at least guiltless). And as previously mentioned you can only do it once.

Think about it.

contact a lawyer to get it expunged. It can only be done one time, but is easy to do with a few hundred bucks.
