There is so much doubt, secrecy, inconsistency regarding this important, world-changing event that I, and many others, now believe that it was orchestrated by the US government as a predicate to launch an Invasion of Iraq thereby helping the Oil rich Bush/Saudi regimes to establish control in the region. I welcome intelligent responses.

Some interesting quotes sent to me when I asked a similar question:-

"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the Untied Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

Like any major, confusing, emotional event there are always conspiracy theories to explain them. However in the absense of solid supporting evidence, the simplest explanation is probably the most accurate i.e. 9/11 was done by a group of terrorist.

Please do not mae the mistake to think the US govrenment needed to do 9/11 themselves so that they would have an excuse to invade Iraq. It is not logical to think that the US government would inflict such embarrasment on themselves by such a humiliating, not to mention tragic, event just to invade Iraq. They didn't need an excuse to invade Iraq, the WMD smoke screen they created would have worked just as well (because the public is so gullible and media led) with or without 9/11.

There are many unanswered questions about this and many inconsistencies, making it prime material for conspiracy theories.

There is also the fact that the government of the US actually had planned, in the past, for a "disaster" that would cause support for them against a targeted enemy (John F. Kennedy shot that one down) and this lends credence to the idea of US Federal involvement in the destruction since bush does not seem to have the same moral fiber that Kennedy did.

Some day perhaps, the full story may get out, but for now, we are left with a mystery.

This conspiracy theory has been around for a long time but like most conspiracy theories, it strays far into the world of make believe. There will always be some inconsistencies in big news stories and catastrophic events such as this because of the way information is reported. There are indeed a number of unanswered questions but to jump from that to your theory is some massive leap of imagination.

Nothing is going to hide the fact that the American Public went along with Bush in his invasion plan to attack Iraq. They weren't thinking again! Nor were they acting very Christian. What happened to Love your Neighbor as your self? Or how about the log in America's eye. Did we finally discover it?
Orchestrated by the US Government, right. As if they could plan something that well.

I have family in America and while i don't wish to offend the Americans i believe there is a conspiracy. I've seen documentaries on 911 and I'm not saying i agree with everything but there are A LOT of important questions asked in these programmes that the US government refuse to answer or accept.

Anyone who hasn't yet seen this, get yourself a copy of :

"CONFRONTING THE EVIDENCE - PAINFULL DECEPTIONS"
"THE 9/11 NEWS SPECIAL YOU NEVER SAW - THE GREAT CONSPIRACY" or visit WWW.REOPEN911.ORG

The above will really open your eyes and get you asking questions and more importantly get you wanting answers.

because authorities being even complicit (even if circuitously to blame for executing the tragedy) is a terrible a idea. human beings are frightened of the reality. Negligence isn't AS undesirable as an interior pastime, in spite of the undeniable fact that that is nevertheless some thing maximum persons do not opt to settle for as reality. yet of route there become some variety of cover up, the fee report become written with the aid of authorities brokers. How can authorities check out itself and be straightforward?

I really don't think that the US had anything to do with it. It was all down to those sick bast8rds! I really can't understand why any body would want to cause such uproar in a country, killing all those innocent people and destroying their families lives.
We now have some sick bast8ards in England trying to blow up our planes, I may sound really ignorant in saying this but i bet alot of you are thinking it,
We let them in our countries, give them a house and money and then how do they f ucking repay us? By blowing us the f uck up!
I think they should all be deported and left to sort out their own f ucking wars, see they even ask us to go in and sort them out for them and still try to kill us innocent british citizens.
What the hell has happened to the world?

I saw one of those conspiracy films about this, it does make a lot of sense. When you see the towers starting to fall, they slowed the filmed and zoomed in, you could see small explosions happening at various intervals down the tower, suggesting detonators were in place.
A lot of things made you think, like the security sniffer dogs were taken out of the building a couple of days before, why?
Another thing that didn't make sense was, one of the passengers on the plane called his mom as his last phone call. When his mom answered he said "hi mom, it's joe bloggs" (not real name obviously). Now, why would he tell his mom his whole name, she would know who it was when he spoke.
It was a very bad and sorry waste of lives, that shouldn't have happened,
