What do I need to Know about longboard skateboards?

I want to buy a longboard, but I don't know what size I need, what brands are good, and what else to be looking for. If someone can help me out I would appreciate it.

Well Check out this site it is actualy for a different sport but they have the two best longboards around and will give you what board you need for your weight I like the loaded longboards
