They're very long white socks, sometimes up to around 4-5 feet long and they're worn scrunched up all the way up to below the knee. The schoolgirls apparently like to wear them in Japan. I think they're totally sexy on a woman (especially when they're swimming!!). What do you think?

They aren't leg warmers (there's not a hole in each end). They're actual socks.

They're also called "leg warmers", I have a few pairs myself. They're not just white, they come in different colors and styles.
I don't think they're "sexy" per se; because they're so popular though, I think they're "trendy". Aside from that, they help to keep my legs warm.

Um first of all i dont go swimming with socks. Second of all its too bulky i like the ankle socks.
