It was in the Billions of dollars and, thanks to all the bickering, infighting and corruption... not to mention downright stealing... not too much has been done to fix the problems

When the politicians are busy, waging dirty wars around the Globe, they would least give a damn to the financial effects of the disaster at home. It was a calamity that fell upon New Orleans thru a natural disaster. Politicians only go to the places where money can be made. New orleans in the aftermath of the hurricane was a no place to make money for them
