I always seem to forget until a month or so later. Do you have a memory jogger for this?

Do it on the first day of the month. Also check smoke alarm batteries and any other minor maintenance items. I always do them the same day of the month. Just make a note on the calendar as a reminder.

When you change the time on the clock, that is when you do the air filters and the batteries for the smoke alarm.

I set mine up as a monthly recurring task in Microsoft Outlook. That way, I get the reminder every month to make the change.

We change ours once a month since we have two dogs, and a cat. Mark it on your calender, or put a note in with your monthly bills, you have to look at them at least once a month.

If they should be changed every month, try to always do it the first, or last day of that month.

If every three months, change when you get your bank savings interest, or when it's time to change your car oil.
