I agree.
I however, have little tolerance for people who try to transform a statement into a question by tacking a question mark on the end of the statement.

I believe I am right?

I believe that this is a natural defensive response. Evolution's power would have us select those individuals who we believe are well suited for survival. Certain rules or traits are developed and they effect how we respond to people who we see as different.

However, at our (humans) stage of developement it is assumed that we have overcome our evolutionary need to cast off those whom we see as not like the rest of us. I personally, do not see a time when such a thing is true. We will always discriminate for the good of the species.

I guess this is a natural tendency that can be explained by evolution and by social psychological principles. We instinctively want to uphold/protect the interests, attitudes, and even lives of our in-group, such that members of an out-group can be seen as threatening. But we can transcend these tendencies because we can think more rationally. It's what makes us different from beasts. Of course, we do still act like beasts and bitches sometimes.

That is true, but we also have to much of a tolerance for people who make this world unpleasant. I do not think that we will ever "get it"
