I am a lover of the ninth as well, but I have found a type of soul medicine in a modern group. When I get overwelmed with emotion about what goes on in the world, I listen to System of a Down. Two different worlds I know, but music is wonderful in many forms. What matters is how it makes you feel..... right?

Ah, a bit of the ol' Ludwig Van, eh, my droog?

There's hardly any piece of music as exultant as the third movement of the 9th, but I'll always prefer the soaring strains of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
