my boyfreind says he still worries about me even though we are not together but he doesnt want to move back in with me? he says we are through im confused please help. he says how can he get over me if we stay in contact? we were together for 2 and a half years,he said he was unhappy over a year wont tell me why.

okay, if he wont tell me why he is unhappy isnt that hiding somthing or does he just want to play the field more, he told me i was a great girfriend and its not me, its him that just is confused, i think his freinds have something to do with him leaving! but if he really cared for me would he let them change him

I had the same scenario with my now husband. It seems that some men after so many years of dating one person feel that they need to explore other options to make sure that the one they had was right. Here is my advice to you.. no matter how hard it is give him his space and take time to better yourself in areas. In my case I gave him his space and decided to lose weight. Maybe after you give him space he will come back to you, but in the end if he doesn't at least you will have bettered yourself in some way. Time heals all wounds

he's playing with you, hun. sounds like he's trying to keep you around and confused, that way he can 'have' you when he wants to.
Tell him there is too much history between the two of you, and leave it at that. The only way to truely move on is to turn around and walk away.

Sounds like he hasn't given up on you he wants you but he doesn't...If he is putting on a show for his freinds he needs to stop...Tell him he needs to decide what he wants, but to figure it out because you don't need him to keep messing with your feelings..

l think its great that he obviously still cares for you...but just think yourself lucky that he has been upfront with you..and you know where you stand..
Mr Right will come along one day..and look at it this way...your ex partner has given you the go ahead to keep on seeking him out.
