this question.. is like a double edged sword.
my sister says the world is actually really corrupted. even though i don't go out much, i'd much prefer to believe otherwise.
anyways.. just wanted to say those junk before i began to answer your question. :D .
as cruel and cold-blooded as this is for me to say.. for the "bigger picture" .. yes. people do need to die. otherwise we would all be suffering from over population. but on the personal note ..
i wished some people would never die .. those that are good, kind, understanding you know? . i know they sound like saints but if more ppl were like that.. and the criminals (by this i mean psychos and serial killers cuz some.. may have their personal reasons) were killed off.. maybe the goodness would spread and eventually we'll maybe end up with a pretty nice society.
but that's just wishful, naive thinking.
and about the abortion & death penalty stuff.. honestly i'm kinda 50/50.. they both have a decent amount of pros and cons . but just wanted to say (if u haven't thought of this before) that a person placed on death row.. could be INNOCENT. and if killed..
god..

I'll not remark on the unwanted children but there are some people who do not belong on this planet with good people. Yes, they need to die. There are many married couples wanting children and can't have their own. Although it's not something I would do myself, a great many would adopt.

YEAH YEAH WHATEVER!!! You are entitled to an opinion right??? But death is necessary whether its done in the hands of a human or natural. The world would be so overpopulated it would be difficult to do anything that would produce positve results for your family.

A drain on society? Why not read the rest of Plato's "The Republic" and tell us what you think?

Some more than others. For instance someone with the name of a mediocre 1980's cartoon might need to die more than someone without one.

Since you feel that way, perhaps you should push for mandatory abortions for those who don't meet certain social criteria? And don't say this idea doesn't appeal to you, because I can smell your joy from here...
