Ok, I used to have Mozilla Firefox, but if you look at my last questions, you'll see that it doesn't work anymore. I want a browser that can load IE pages without me having to use Internet Explorer. Mozilla had the IE tab. I don't want avast, b/c it runs in your system tray, and I don't have much RAM. Also, I want to have a pop up blocker, and maybe some good extensions. Opera cannot load my homepage correctly b/c it is encrypted and only IE can see it. So do you have a safe, fast browser that can be good as Mozilla?

Firefix is great. Just try out the following trick and you'll really find IExplorer to be obsolete.

Trick:
Faster Surfing Speed In Mozilla
Just tried this tricks and it really worked !!!
Really not joking.
There is a trick in Mozilla Firefox to increase
the speed of surfing [Not for downloading] by changing some of the values.
[Note:This only works for broadband users.]
------------------------------------------------------
::: Steps :::

1. Open mozilla firefox.
2. Type about:config in the address bar.
3. Edit the values as follows.

Name: Value
network.http.max-connections: 48
network.http.max-connections-per-server : 24
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6
network.http.pipelining: true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 32
network.http.proxy.pipelining : true

After changing the values just close Firefox and open it again.
Enjoy greater speed!

[Idea: The idea is only that the default net-usage for windows is reduced.]
------------------------------------------------------
::: For Some More Information :::

Default Values are:
Name:Value
network.http.max-connections: 24
network.http.max-connections-per-server: 8
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 4
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 2
network.http.pipelining: false
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 4
network.http.proxy.pipelining: false

Hope you'll like it :)

If you have to access a website that requires Internet Explorer, you will have to use that. It is recommended that you avoid sites like those because they often use ActiveX plugins or VBScripts, which give a website substantial access to your system. What you are asking for is the security of Mozilla, with the insecure features of Internet Explorer.

i have been utilizing IE maximum of my existence yet at the same time as it became to 7 and now 8 beta Its began crashing like loopy and that i must format my total computer some situations. i attempted Firefox and now i'm an ordinary consumer. i imagine its merely the suited (the upload-ons, apps, and its swifter than IE) Opera and Safari are particularly reliable too yet I dunno....i love firefox more effective acceptable. there is also the now Google Chrome which isn't undesirable too. i recommend the Firefox its merely is the suited.
