But my computer dosen't have to be doing anything and it makes this loud buzzing noise when it's on. It's getting pretty annoying and even worst. What's the problem?

There are several places in computer that can buzz. Check these spots:
1. Fans (bad bearing or cables touching fans. The fan can be either casing fans, CPU fan or PSU fan)
2. Harddisk head is misplaced
3. Electromagnetic disturbance to speaker, both internal speaker, or the external speaker.
4. A component in the motherboard, or other board is bad.

A good way to identify what makes the sound is by testing them one by one. You should try turning computer without some fans, or without harddisk, or without speaker. (note: if your computer is factory made, opening the casing may void warranty)

cuite1 seems to be not knowledgeful, enough. Hitting a computer, is useless, on general, however, there are times that a computer needs a hitting as a remedy, such as when you suspects that the harddisk is damaged because the head of the harddisk is touching the disk's surface, leading to a sounding harddisk, you hit the harddisk *lightly* in certain places, in hope the harddisk head would place itself in a better position. However, such hitting needs to be applied with special care, and avoided unless you're sure it's needed.

Just a guess, but it might be a fan going bad. I've had similar problems and usually replacing the fan in the power supply fixes it. If your computer has more fans then you'll have to do some troubleshooting to determine which fan it is.

If it's not a fan then perhaps the hard drive is getting ready to die. If so, I would buy an extra hard drive and copy your data over just incase it does die, this way you don't loose the data.

Sounds like a bad bearing in your exhaust fan, CPU fan or power supply fan if it's making the noise all the time. I'd get the fan replaced. Of course it can also be the blade coming into contact with a wire or cable too.

sounds like it's either your fan or your Hdd going bad. Yes new Hdd go bad. If its that new take it back. should be under some sort of warranty. Give it a light whack close to where the sound comes from. If its the hdd it should quiet down some. If it doesn't take it back before you try to open the box. Some companies will not honor warranties if you open it yourself.

My guess it that the mount on an interior fan is loose. Fans can sometimes slip loose and start hitting the corners of other components of the tower. Try opening the casing and checking it out.

may be a fault of your cooling fan or may be because of your hard disk.actually it is hard to give direct answer without look at your pc.some times when you work long time in your pc prcessor get hot.so cooling fan automatically detect this and try to increase it's rpm.this may cause the matter.

Without seeing the computer, any answer is only a guess. My guess is that you have a bad bearing in one of your cooling fans.

I would open the case of your pc and see if any cables in there are hitting against one of the cooling fans
